Lauren’s experience in website optimization goes back nearly10 years, where she began her online career as a website coordinator for a national retailer & catalog company. She then spent five years as a lead SEO at a CRM, full-service digital agency, working primarily on hospitality vertical client websites, providing optimization recommendations that brought bottom line performance up by double digit performance. During her tenure, she took on training and leadership roles in order to educate across verticals within the company frequently providing “new data” to measure the agency’s work. She successfully worked with SEM, Design, and Social Media teams to develop campaigns for clients based upon SEO best practices. She has taken her expertise from agency to in-house for well known national brands, and now develops digital marketing strategies for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in the DC area. She continues to open the communication amongst the various company channels, connecting key members of teams to optimize processes that produce multi-channel, successful campaigns. In addition to providing these connections amongst the teams, Lauren provides data-backed insights from search engines highlighting the performance and potential of new media campaigns for the company.
